On Monday (30/5), PT Rodamas gave donations to Yayasan Pendidikan An Nur located at Jl. Inspeksi Slipi RW 03 Kemanggisan through its CSR program, ‘Rodamas Berbagi’.
Yayasan Pendidikan An Nur itself has an Islamic School and a non-formal education institution to teach Al-Quran from early childhood (Taman Pendidikan Alquran). They have 30 students from RW 03 Kemanggisan, divided into 4 classes from ages 5 to 15. Classes are held every day from 4 p.m. until Maghrib. From the 4 classes, only 1 class has a whiteboard, hence why PT Rodamas decided to donate 3 more whiteboards and other learning equipment such as stationeries.
Ali Murtadho, as part of the management of Yayasan An Nur also stated that the place is used as Branch Representative Council of Nahdlatul Ulama (Majelis Wakil Cabang Nahdlatul Ulama) secretariat, as well as for activities held by Nahdlatul Ulama Student Community (Ikatan Pelajar Nahdlatul Ulama) and Pagar Nusa Nahdlatul Ulama Palmerah. Due to the various activities held at the location, the ‘Rodamas Berbagi’ program also donated 1 set of speakers to aid in these activities.
“Thank you to PT Rodamas for their concern towards us, [the donations] are very beneficial to the activities done here,” Ali Murtadho thanked. CSR Manager at PT Rodamas, Tommy Wicaksono, mentioned, “The ‘Rodamas Berbagi’ program is routinely held every month, focusing on helping the office’s direct surroundings. Our hope is that this program can be beneficial to members of the community that need an extra hand.”
